The Old Time and Bluegrass Music Show, every Saturday morning,  is hosted  by Gary Poe. Gary is a knowledgeable bluegrass follower who brings a wide variety of styles to the area listeners each week. Gary is able to provide background information about the songs and artist that perform them. 

"A little after Eleven"

His show stimulates a deeper interest in this style of  music. He can be seen at almost all the musical events in the area supporting and enjoying the performers and talking with the folks as he increases his knowledge of bluegrass and old time music. His show offers musicians and singers the opportunity to perform live on his show from time to time. This is a special treat for his listeners and allows local groups to reach a larger audience that appreciates their style of music. The Ashe Civic Center started March 2, 2002 hosting the live radio show  allowing the public to see as well as hear the local talent from our area.
